Charlie Robinson is a multi-hyphenate filmmaker, born in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers with a BFA. Focused primarily on Production Design, Charlie has worked in independent film for the past twelve years, designing the New York unit of Charli XCX’s The Moment (2026 Sundance Film Festival), The Last Thing Mary Saw (2021 Fantasia Film Festival), Endless Sea (2022 SXSW Film Festival), and Hannah Ha Ha (Winner Grand Jury Prize 2020 Slamdance Film Festival).
Most recently, he has designed Destroy All Girls (2026), premiering at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, and Chloe Wise’s ExtraSensory, currently on exhibition at Art Basel 2026 in Switzerland.
Additionally, Charlie has designed music videos for a number of artists, including A.S.A.P. Rocky (HIGHJACK, 2024), Mitski (Where’s My Phone, 2026), and Brockhampton (Big P***Y, 2022). Other notable work includes leading and supporting roles in such films as Lemon Tree (2002 Cannes Film Festival) and Funny Pages (2022 Cannes Film Festival).
